David Jolly for U.S. Senate

What do all three have in common? A higher approval rating than Congress.

As you may have heard, David Jolly will appear on "60 Minutes" tomorrow night and pull the curtain back on an institution that Americans view in lower esteem than NFL replacement refs.

So what's the big deal? Why is this story any different than all the others we've read about Washington dysfunction?

Here's the answer: Jolly isn't going anywhere. He's not retiring. And he's putting everything on the line to fix it as a sitting Member of Congress with the courage to act tough, not just talk tough.

Think about it. It's always the pols with one foot out the door (see Steve Israel) who gripe about the failures of Congress. But where were they when it really mattered...when they actually could have done something about it?

You see, for the past 20 years we've been waiting on somebody from the outside to blow up the system. Little did we know that it just might take someone from the inside to light the fuse.

I hope you'll tune in tomorrow night.

Max
